Established 2024, on Waterman Ave.
Our story
Our journey starts with a contractor of more than thirty-five years deciding to change careers and finally chase the thing he actually loved doing. For twelve years my wife and I volunteered at a local lodge — me in the kitchen, her planning the events. Between those years, a lot of late-night brainstorming, and a good deal of pushing from family and friends, we decided to go out on our own.
Smithfield Pizza House came out of that.
We run it together, and the neighborhood took us in faster than we expected. A few months after opening, that welcome was enough to grow the place into Smithfield Pizza House & Pub.
Where we started
We broke ground in early 2024. From the first nail to the last coat of paint, the two of us were in the building nearly every day, getting it ready. By the time we opened the doors, we knew every inch of it.
How it's going
The menu has grown, the pub is open late, and the specialty pizzas have picked up names from the roads around town — Mountaindale, Douglas Pike, Wolf Hill, Waterman Ave. Come by and find your street.
Together is our favorite place to be.
